Sèvres soft-paste porcelain oval sugar bowl and cover. White ground with gilded decoration and double blue band borders, stylised gilt foliate trails with undulating pink rose trails between. The cover is serpentine in outline, rising to a bombé centre and crowned by a gilded pine-cone finial springing from a gilded star-shaped leaf motif in low relief.
