Soft-paste Sèvres porcelain ½-size wine cooler. White ground with gilded decoration and violet bands. Alternating plants (yellow jasmine and pink forget-me-nots) radiate from a thick burnished gold line. The bands, edged with gold, are overlaid with a repeating, foliate, lyre-shaped pattern, also in gold. A gold band runs round the foot and rim.
