Description

A set of twenty five bone china coffee cans and twenty six bone china saucers with green ground, gilt rims with harebells on the handle; the green borders with Garter reserves, those inscribed 'ROYAL YACHT OSBORNE' enclosing an anchor, those with Garter motto enclosing a Prince of Wales badge, surrounded by gilt chains and dots.

Provenance

Part of a dinner service produced for use on HMY Osborne, either the renamed HMY Victoria and Albert (renamed 1855), or HMY Osborne, launched 1870, decommissioned 1908.
