Soft-paste Sèvres porcelain plates. Bleu lapis ground overlaid in gold with a vermiculé pattern. The rim is edged with a gold line on white ground and divided into twelve evenly sized scallops. A gold line marks the scalloped inner edge of the rim, which is in faint relief. Running round the perimeter of the well is a gold band and painted in the centre with a floral spray and in the three reserves on the border with flowers in lobed cartouches framed by a gold band.
