Sèvres soft-paste porcelain sugar bowl and cover. Green ground with gilded Louis XV decoration. The bowl is of inverted pear shape; the cover, bombé and serpentine in outline and fitted with a floral knob.
Provenance
Possibly recorded in 1826 in the Confectionary, Carlton House: ‘No. 177. A green Sugar Bason and Cover with embossed flower knob’.
