A silver-plated strut frame decorated with blue and red champlevé enamel, in the form of the Star of the Order of the Garter. The centre of the star has hinged covers, which open to reveal a tinted photograph of Alexandra, Princess of Wales (1844-1925), and her three eldest children, Prince Albert Victor (1864-92) (left), Prince George (1865-1936) and Princess Louise (1857-1931).
