A silver-gilt hot-water jug, with a hinged lid with an acorn finial, an ivory scroll handle with a dog's head and wing motifs, and a broad spout cast with an anthemion. The jug has a gadrooned girdle and bands of guilloche and egg and dart, and is engraved with the Royal coat of arms.
Provenance
Probably acquired by George IV, when Prince Regent.
