A pair of silver-gilt pilgrim flasks, each with tall neck and lobed body on an oval foot. The stopper of each is attached to the flask by a chain. The flask is chased with foliage and decorated with applied acanthus leaves, with cast Mercury masks on the shoulders from which is suspended a large chain. The flask is engraved with the Royal coat of arms.

The flasks were purchased by George IV in 1828 for £305
