An oval medallion with chamfered edge, the black ground with white low relief profile of George III facing right, wearing the Collar and Riband of the Order of the Garter, the cloak over his right shoulder impressed with the Badge of the Order of the Garter.
Provenance
First recorded in the Royal Collection at Windsor Castle in an inventory of Wedgwood porcelain dated 1914 - 17.
