A replica of the original telescope invented and used by Sir Isaac Newton. A walnut, oak and metal reflecting telescope; the telescope is attached to a ball hinge which rests on a top-shaped cup, flanked by two T-shaped metal arms springing from a circular reeded base.

A replica of the reflecting telescope made by Sir Isaac Newton in 1671 presented to Queen Elizabeth II on the occasion of her opening the Isaac Newton Telescope at Herstmonceau in 1967
