1 medal : silver (sterling) Obverse: Inscription on map of New York. 1821-1971/Sesquicentennial/COUNTY OF/MONROE.NY Reverse: Bust of a Seneca Indian in circle around which four cartouches depicting scenes from Monroe County life. Erie Canal aqueduct, Lower Genesee falls, a statue of Mercury and a rural scene.
