A Rectangular maroon leather insignia case lined with white silk and green velvet; containing silver-gilt chain with enamelled badge. A Silver-gilt chain consisting of two lotus flowers, two shamrocks, two thistles and three Tudor roses, connected by a slender double trace of gold chain; with a centre piece over the badge suspension loop consisting of the royal cypher in crimson enamel surrounded by a silver-gilt wreath and surmounted by a crimson-enamelled silver-gilt crown. Suspended from the chain is a badge comprised of a white-enamelled silver-gilt Maltese cross of eight points centred with VRI cypher in gold lettering over crimson enamel ground, within blue enamel riband inscribed VICTORIA in gold lettering and surmounted by enamelled imperial state crown.
