Order of the Thistle Collar and Badge; 34 gold and enamelled alternating links of 17 thistles enamelled dark pink, each flanked by two leaves enamelled green and linked together by 17 interlaced sprigs of rue; all attached with small gold rings. With accompanying badge: figure of Saint Andrew of enamelled gold, bald and beardless, his clothes green, edged with minerva, surcoat purple. The Saint standing in a field of green holds his cross of martyrdom before him, which is enamelled white on both sides. The figure is set in a 'glory' of gold rays. On the reverse of the collar, the links are plain.
