Cameo depicting a full-length figure of Mars, wearing classical armour and a helmet, in three-quarter view, with his head in profile to the left. He faces the figure of Venus to the left. She is naked and seen from the back in three-quarter view. To the right stands Cupid shooting an arrow; a tree closes the scene to the left. An intaglio sun and its rays are at the top right.
