Cameo depicting a figure of a triumphant Roman emperor, seated in a horse-drawn chariot. He wears classical armour and holds a torch. A figure with a basket of fruit on its head stands in the background.
The scene is based on an ancient prototype. It is of a type frequently found on the mounts of hard stone vases by the Milanese Saracchi workshop.
