A circular gold brooch, set with diamonds, rubies and sapphires the name of the racehorse Minoru.
Minoru was one of the successful racehorses in Edward VII's stables, winning both the 2000 Guineas and the Epsom Derby in 1909. As the horse's owner, Edward VII became the first reigning monarch to win the Derby. The brooch is composed in the royal racing colours of red and blue.Provenance
