Rectangular wooden casket secured by two gilt-metal hooks at the front, entirely lacquered with patterns of birds and flowers in red, green and blue on a gold ground, the bottom plain red; plain wooden interior.
Provenance
Presented to Queen Victoria by the inhabitants of Hyderabad, Sindh, for her Golden Jubilee gift in 1887. Contained within a velvet case, RCIN 34338.
