After a miniature by Reginald Easton (current location unknown). Born in Orsay, Clémentine Pepin trained under Charles Cordier, Edouard Brandon and Aimée Chéron, née Jovin, as a miniature painter. She exhibited at the Paris Salon from 1866 to 1878.
Princess Victoria Louise Sophia Augusta Amelia Helena ('Helena Victoria') of Schleswig-Holstein, eldest daughter of Princess Helena, third daughter of Queen Victoria, and Prince Christian of Schleswig-Holstein. She spent her lifetime performing charitable works and lived in later years with her divorced sister, Princess Marie Louise, dying unmarried in 1948.
