Cigarette case, rectangular, birch wood, hinged lid with two-colour gold mount incorporating gold medallion double profile portraits of Edward VII and Queen Alexandra framed with crowned foliate wreath and with moonstone thumb-piece.
Fabergé used a variety of different woods to make the simpler and less expensive cigarette cases in his range. This example incorporates a profile portrait medallion of Edward VII and Queen Alexandra.
