This little panel is in the style of Teniers’s transcriptions of old masters for his ‘Theatrum Pictorium’ (see CWLF 105, 400932 and CWLF 106, 400693), though not good enough to be by Teniers. It depicts an adaptation of Titian’s ‘Agony in the Garden’ (Escorial).
