Head and shoulders portrait of Anne Boleyn (1507-1536), facing slightly to the left, her head turned half to the left, wearing round her neck a gold chain and a rope of pearls with a gold pendant in the shape of a B with three pendant pearls, and a headdress decorated with pearls. This is a derivation from a standard type of portrait of Anen Boleyn of which there are versions in the National Portrait Gallery London and the National Gallery of Ireland. Inscribed: ANNA BOLLINA VXOR. HENRICI . OCTAVI. (Anne Boleyn wife of Henry VIII)
