I have a bit of blue dress showing, and the Indian ornament the Queen of Oude gave you, which you gave to me when I married, round my neck, and my own small pearls beside.' She was intensely annoyed that Von Angeli was unable to finish it for Christmas; at that date (7 December) she did not think it a very good likeness.
