At the left, part of a bridge descending to the quay. In the middle distance S. Cristoforo, with the church and monastery of S. Michele beyond. In the distance Murano, the hills of the mainland and Burano.
Provenance
First recorded in the Hall at Buckingham Palace in 1790 attributed to 'Bartolets'; still there in 1819 but now as Canaletto (no 851)
