Head and shoulders, in profile to the left, wearing a dark coat with a gold collar and a chain; his left arm is raised up on the left revealing two rings. This is a copy deriving from RCIN 403443 which was probably created in the late sixteenth century.

Probably acquired by Queen Caroline from Lord Cornwallis; recorded in the Private Closet at Kensington Palace in 1818 (no 636)
