Head and shoulders portrait of a man, facing three-quarters to the left, his eyes turned to the front, wearing a dark coat with fur trimmings. Although this has been accepted by some scholars as a work by Tintoretto, and related to a far more forceful portrait dated 1546 in the Uffizi, the picture is of poor quality and its technique does not resemble products of Tintoretto’s workshop, suggesting that it is by an imitator of Tintoretto.
