Princess Victoria of Hesse (1863-1950) was Queen Victoria’s granddaughter, the eldest daughter of her third child, Princess Alice, Grand Duchess of Hesse. This is a copy of a portrait of Princess Victoria by Rudolph Swoboda (RCIN 406666). Signed and dated: 'G. Koberwein . Terrell . 1886.' Inscribed (wrongly) on the back as by 'S. [sic] Koberwein Terrell after Sant.'
