This is a version of Ferdinand Krumholz's portrait of 1846 (Palace of Ajuda). The Queen is shown full-length, wearing a white gown with a multi-coloured ribbon across the bossom, her left hand resting on a bound constitution on a red velvet draped surface next to a crown and sceptre; there is an ornately carved throne to the left.
