Sword or khanda with a straight, single-edged, steel blade widening to the point, strengthened with an encasing plate. The guarded hilt with a flat, circular pommel and blued-steel spike decorated with gold overlaid patterning and with a flintlock pistol attached, the pommel and knuckle-guard with an ammunition receptacle.
Provenance
Presented to King Edward VII, when Prince of Wales, during his tour of India in 1875-76 by Mohammad Ibrahim Ali Khan, Nawab of Tonk.
