Coat of scale armour with short wide sleeves, of padded green velvet fortified overall with horny scales; each scale with a gold-edged floral design, and a jewelled border with smaller scales encrusted with rubies and turquoises in gold settings.
Provenance
Presented to King Edward VII, when Prince of Wales, during his tour of India in 1875-76 by Bhavani Singh, Maharaja of Datia.
