Spear or sang with a curved steel blade chiselled and pierced with foliate motifs, in a tubular socket with chased projecting rings. The bamboo shaft with a steel ferrule. The spearhead probably made within the Nayaka kingdom (1529-1736), which ruled over modern-day Tamil Nadu.
