A shamshir (sabre) with a flat Damascus blade, the hilt mounted in gilt copper with straight quillons and applied horn grip-plaques. Red velvet-covered wooden scabbard with collar and chape extending to the upper and lower slings; gilt-metal mounts chased with trophies.
