An Irish carved bog oak tankard with silver handle and lining; the sides are carved with scenes of revelling peasants above a frieze of grotesque faces; the lid is carved with oak leaves and applied with silver acorn cups; the handle is cast in the form of a branch with a harp thumb piece. The scene on the tankard is Donnybrook Fair in Dublin.
