Malacca walking stick, the ivory handle carved in the form of a leopard's head (Indian) set with numerous precious and semi-precious stones including sapphires, rubies, diamonds, moonstones and turquoises; the collar of repoussé gold with chinoiserie chasing and the royal coat of arms.
Provenance
This walking stick was given to Prince Albert Victor, Duke of Clarence and Avondale on his twenty eighth birthday, 8 January 1892, six days before he died from influenza.
