A walnut marquetry side table, the rectangular top with a moulded edge, inlaid with a large central oval, two roundels, two half-roundels and four quarters, each of dense foliage on a holly ground, within a cross-banded border. The frieze is fitted with a long drawer, on spirally-turned legs, joined by a curved X-stretcher, on ball feet.
Provenance
Since the acquisition of Shaw Farm, this table has been placed in the King's Room. -
