An Empire mantel clock in a mounted bronze upright rectangular case with applied gilt foliate decoration surmounted by an urn finial; the base has applied military trophies; fountains from the urn and the mask below the dial. The enamel dial has the 12 hours represented by Roman numerals and blued steel moon hands. The eight day rack striking mechanism has a going barrel escapement and anchor recoil escapement.
