A mantel clock with an ormolu and tortoise shell case, raised caddy top with four finials and a carrying handle, toupie feet.
The original French eight day rack striking mechanism has a going barrel movement and a recoil escapement. The enamel dial is decorated with a ring of swags and bows and the 12 hours and the quarters are represented in arabic numerals and a pair of shaped blued steel hands.Provenance
