A white marble portico mantel clock with gilt-bronze mounts, the gilt bronze clock case mounted beneath the cornice; the cornice and base decorated with a stylised foliate motif, terminating in anthemions, on four chased bun feet. The eight day locking plate, striking clock has a going barrel movement and dead beat escapement. The shaped bezel frames a gilded engine turned dial which has the 12 hours represented in Roman numerals and a pair of blued steel moon shaped hands.
