The Queen’s second son, Prince Andrew, is an accomplished photographer, and published a book of his work in 1985. His photographs have appeared in exhibitions and featured on postage stamps. This series of four portraits, taken at The Queen’s private residence, Sandringham House, was included as part of the portfolio released to celebrate Her Majesty’s Golden Jubilee in 2002. Another photograph by The Duke of York depicting The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh and Queen Elizabeth at the Castle of Mey, was used as Her Majesty’s Christmas card in 1985.
