Photograph of the tableau 'Rebecca' performed in Balmoral Castle. From left to right is: Evelyn Moore (b. 1856), kneeling whilst holding an amphora; Miss Campbell, standing in right side profile; Miss [Minnie] Cochrane (d. 1943), standing with her left arm raised to her head; Saiyad Ahmad Husain, holding an amphora; Hafiz Abdul Karim (1863-1909), who is seated in left side profile and holding a walking stick and Sheikh Muhammad Bakhsh who stands facing three-quarters to the left.
Queen Victoria wrote in her journal for the 5th October 1888, '..the tableau were most successful, & really beautiful, in particular St Elizabeth, Novice, Rebecca, & York. We had a small band, from Aberdeen, which played well, & appropriate pieces, during, & between the Tableaux.' RA VIC/MAIN/ (W) 5th October 1888 -
