Description

Photograph of Prince William of Gloucester (1941-72), seated in left side profile, facing the viewer. Prince William of Gloucester only sat for Adams once, in October 1943. On that occasion, he was also photographed with his father, Henry, Duke of Gloucester, who had accompanied his son to The Children's Studio. Prince William died in a plane crash in 1972.
