The Princess wears short-sleeved dress trimmed with bows. The Queen’s younger sister, Princess Margaret, was born at Glamis Castle on 21 August 1930, the second daughter of the Duke and Duchess of York. At the time of her birth she was fourth in line to the throne. This photograph was taken in the summer of 1931, when the family visited Adams's studio in Dover Street.
