Photographic study of Princess Elizabeth's left hand. This photograph was taken by Adams during the Duke and Duchess of York’s visit to Australia and New Zealand in 1927. Photographs of Princess Elizabeth were regularly sent to her parents during their absence overseas, enabling them to see their daughter's development and to be assured of her well-being.
