Grand Duchess Elisabeth Mavrikievna and Princess Marie Anne of Saxe-Altenburg were the eldest daughters of Prince Moritz of Saxe-Altenburg. Grand Duchess Elisabeth Mavrikievna married Grand Duke Constantine Constantinovich in 1884.
