Photograph of the East Terrace, Windsor Castle, the area filled with many people, including members of the Royal Family standing under a marquee. To right in middle distance, there are Life Guards in full military dress, holding flags or standards, and Grenadier Guards on parade (back turned to viewer), also holding standards or flags. There are two groups of people in full military and naval uniform, to left and beyond the marquee. The Royal Standard is flying. This photograph may have been taken on Empire Day.
