Van Dyck Room, June 1905 dated
-
Photograph of the Van Dyck Room, now known as the Queen's Ballroom, Windsor Castle. The wallpaper is a repeating damask wallpaper, installed about 1902, replacing the old Victoria pattern wallpaper. There is a variety of seated furniture and tables, and two silver tables in the spaces between the bay windows. The paintings on the walls are mostly by Van Dyck. The layout does not appear to have changed significantly since the last occasion when this room was photographed (see 2936852, dated 1902).
