Photograph of part of the King's Closet, now known as the King's Dressing Room, Windsor Castle, facing the door probably leading to the King's Bedchamber. There is a kneehole desk and mirror in the bay window and a chest of drawers with a candlestick or lamp with tulip shade, in the foreground. On the other side are various armchairs and a fireplace. The carpet is a bowed-ribbon pattern. In front of the door is a curious shadow or blur - probably a moving figure.
