Photograph of the Picture Gallery, now known as the Queen's Drawing Room, Windsor Castle, towards the fireplace. There is a mixture of furniture in different styles and periods, and many paintings on the wall. For example there is an oak, marquetry and giltwood centre table by Morel and Sedden in the Gothic style, which is no longer in the Royal Collection. There is a Boulle-style writing table and a Morel and Seddon 'Klismos' style sofa (RCIN 31373) in front facing the fireplace. On the mantlepiece is a row of seven porcelain jars or vases. At the back of the room is a Boulle cabinet on stand (RCIN 31341). The wallpaper is a repeating pattern of Edward VII's monogram surrounded by a wreath and surmounted by a crown. The carpet is mainly Tudor roses interseted by oak leaves.
