Photograph of the Queen's Closet now known as the King's Closet, Windsor Castle. The wallpaper is a repeating VR within garland and crown pattern; there is a 18th century 'love' armchair, a large mirrored wardrobe, a bath painted in faux-marble, a firescreen, a dressing table with marble top with a toilet set of jugs and basins. On the walls there are a number of Renaissance paintings, including portraits of Mary I (RCIN 404442), Henry VII after Holbein (RCIN 404430) (within splashing distance of the bath) and Edward VI (RCIN 404441), and an altarpiece over the mantelpiece, by Provoost, Triptych of the Virgin and Child with Saints and Donors (RCIN 405816).
