Photograph of the Council Room, now known as the King's Bedchamber with the 'polonaise' George Jacob bed (RCIN 39220) in the centre. On the right wall is a wardrobe and possibly a tapestry behind ('November', RCIN 1406). To the right of the fireplace is a tapestry, probably a Mortlake tapestry, called January (RCIN 64108.1). In front of the fireplace is a large firescreen painted with a still-life of flowers. There is a large crystal chandelier. Underneath this is a small writing table and various chairs.
