Photograph of the Van Dyck Room, now known as the Queen's Ballroom, facing south, corner. There is a variety of seated furniture, some covered with tapestry panels (RCINs 33498, 25293, 2537, 35305 etc) and a boulle desk and a standing clock. The carpet is of an oak trellis with Garter motif design. The paintings are mostly by Anthony van Dyck, of King Charles I and his family - The largest painting is of Charles I, Henrietta Maria and their eldest two children (RCIN 405353). There is a strip of new wallpaper hanging in between the large family group portrait and two other portraits.
